The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. It is 72 degrees and cloudy here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a cloudy day, maybe some rain, and temperatures in the mid 80s this afternoon. Well if you're like me you have reached your saturation point with this godawful election. I am so sick of seeing that orange buffoon and hearing his cringe inducing dumb grating voice. We need to find creative and more deeper ways of describing this clumsy, unaware, violence inducing, reckless, miserable, deformed candidate, Donald Trump. The man is a walking misery library. He makes GW Bush look like a saint. He makes Obama look like Socrates.

At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are moderately lower and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open moderately lower.

Oil continues to baffle, as the price per barrel now exceeds $46. I would have thought that the good market sentiment of the Saudi oil minister would have dissipated at this point. It will happen.

European markets are declining in early trading, while most Asian markets are closing the day with losses.

Go fig. OIL? It's hard to call now. Smells like a classic "suckers market" , but who knows?

I expect it to drop, no question about it.
