We've talked about this. It is interesting and one thing does come to mind right now. Around here in Upstate NY, Bernie is well known, he was not well known around the country, not even close to the popularity of Clinton. I've said this before but I believe Bernie entered the race too softly and too late. It takes time for people to get to know a candidate and there were plenty of very well known black celebrities and such that were pleading for people to go to Bernie. But Hillary has been ingrained for a long time. Bill Clinton won over the black community big time. Remember the clip of the older black woman putting the Clintons in a bear hug when they had that thank you type of day in the beginning of his presidency. That was a telling moment and it reverberates all the way to now with Hillary. Bernie would have won if he had entered earlier and stronger with a better campaign behind him. The Clintons know how to win, can you fault them for that.

The Clinton's definitely had a huge lead among the African American community no doubt about that. I don't think Bernie could have ever over come that this cycle even if he had started earlier. We'll never know, but I stand by what I said above. White racism is indeed rampant in America no doubt , but RACISM is not just a disease confined to whites it's a human affliction and is despicable from whomever it emanates out of. tRump however is running on it in fast forward no matter what he's saying now. As his ugly campaign goes forward it's all I can bear to even think of such a man as a major party candidate. It's a measure of just how ugly things have gotten in this country these last 35 yrs. since Reagan.
