It's not surprising that people bought into the myth. If there is one thing that unifies all GOP voters it's they all IMO worship the wealthy and tend to believe in them. The reason is simple, their rich which by inference means there smart and their probably "GOOD." Of course neither thing might be true. Their are plenty of dumb as nails rich people like GWBV$H who inherited their wealth and have lived off of family connections their whole life. As for being good, I think this comes from many folks religious beliefs that say wealth is an indication of being "save." Another fantasy people want to believe , but it fills the evangelical mega-churches up doesn't it? This belief arose in the reformation era 500 yrs. ago when Protestant reformers promulgated the whole notion of grace and within that idea was this foolish notion that GOD showed his grace by bestowing worldly goods upon those who are saved. You know like mafia chiefs and drug cartel members etc. It's as foolish and muddled headed notion as the Hindu caste system, but it has been a driving force in the west for a very long time. So, Donald is rich which in the simple minded calculus of millions of these people means he's a good guy. He's neither good nor is his wealth all of his own making. In fact, much of it has been garnered through using the courts and bankruptcy. In short, Daddy gave him his start and the law gave him his business plan. He's a grifter as you've called him and he's proud of it.

I think all of his pomp bullshit really feeds his enormous ego. He believes his bullshit, and that in itself is scary. Of all the scary crazed things he represents he's a person with 0, nada, not a speck, of self awareness and how his actions influence other people, except when they are adoring his big fat bullshit ego. Look at the numbers on the rise of bullying in grammar and high school. That's on Trump's fat head, and we should start a class action law suit against this shit head.

Yes, bullying to get what you want is a biz plan these days. Sadly, it because we live in a time when the Wolf in man rules. Millions have been unceremoniously kicked to the curb and so we've seen a rise in this kind of behavior.
