Commentary

  So last night I am wandering around Trump supporter websites trying to get a sense of the vibe. I left with my jaw open, the level of vicious demeaning hateful comments one after the next, each increasing the vitriol is shocking, but not surprising. There is no word imagery that is low enough, they go anywhere. They go after Clinton, naturally, in the most vile way, they go after women, people of color, Muslims, gays, and virtually everyone except themselves. I kept thinking to myself these people want to be known as not hateful, not racist, intelligent, all that, and yet they are in fact the people who are helping to drive Trump’s poll numbers into the ground. Are they kidding, do they think that people are not reading these comments, all people, all as in everyone. Trump is spewing a word salad porridge day in and day out, from veiled racism to assassinating Clinton, to poking his electorate into violence over absurd talk of a rigged election and all that is keeping his voting ceiling low. But it’s his supporters activity online that is driving the message home for all to see in it’s purest most hateful way.
