The Market On Friday

This is terrible. A wave of nationalism is sweeping the globe. It's fear, it's stupidity, and Donald Trump is America's titular head of virulent US strain of it. You can't hide from this one, there's isn't a safe haven.

At 7:15 a.m. ET DOW futures are down over 500 points and the price of oil per barrel is down over $3 a barrel. The market is going to shed lots and lots of equity value at the opening bell.

Hey, at least you don't live in Britain, because if you did, your money would be worth pennies on the dollar, maybe slightly better than that. The British shoot themselves in the foot and like it. Sound familiar?

CNN: Dow futures down 500 points after shock U.K. referendum by Alanna Petroff and Patrick Gillespie
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq look set to plunge 3.5%.

The U.K. is America's seventh biggest trading partner.
