They'll step up by the millions to buy his BRAND because they worship the "Golden Calf" of greed and Donald their Golden boy is the living embodiment of that religion. Reduced to it's essence many flavors of American Christianity are little nothing more then idol worship the idol being wealth and power. Jesus if he ever came back would be appalled at what his faith has been turned into. These people hate the poor and suffer their children , they hate anyone that doesn't believe as they do and they love torture and WAR.
I think you had an excellent point yesterday talking about the post neo-liberalism the globe faces. Trump represents the fascist authoritarian approach - fear, racism, segregation, hierarchy, violence, ultra-nationalism. Bernie was closer to the opposite approach - inclusiveness, equality, peace, etc etc. The people that side with Trump are siding with that approach and the big question is very simple - when in the history of mankind has this (Trump's) approach ever led to a better lifestyle for all. The answer is never. It's always led to more suffering.
TrUmp has admitted public-ally he loves revenge and retribution against those that oppose him. Is that the words of a man intent on peace and freedom?
