Brexit

Guardian UK: UK still ‘indispensable’ ally, says US, but new status uncertain - White House restates position that UK is now at back of the queue for trade deals, as world leaders react to Brexit vote
Russia’s presidential business ombudsman, Boris Titov, said: “Leaving will tear the EU away from the Anglo-Saxons, that is from the US.” And reacting to sterling’s slide on the foreign exchanges, a Russian state TV anchor observed drily: “It’s no joke: the pound is the new rouble.”

We ( on the left) need to STOP calling everyone we disagree with STUPID. Many of the reasons why people are voting the way they do has NOTHING to do with reason or intelligence. Calling people stupid because we disagree with their positions is condescending and infuriating to these people and only hardens their perceptions and beliefs. Let's just agree to disagree without the rancor and the belittling.

Okay okay I hear you, I'll try. We would both have to agree it's been a particularly shitty week. Last week I thought Trump was finished, right now I think he really can win.
