The Market On Friday

Good morning. It is 68 degrees and sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley. We are in for yet another gorgeous Summer day. The weather has been nothing short of magical around here so get outside even if it's just to look at the condition of the sidewalk! Just get out there. Has the US gotten tired of Trump and moved onto the next Joey Buttafuoco yet? God help us. I like to remind people that we elected GW Bush to the presidency, twice. In my mind that means that Trump is infinitely electable, come on America, think about this for just a second.

At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are modestly lower and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open lower.

The reports are pointing the finger of market fear at the top three most recent trouble spots - China's currency, Greece's hideously flawed and bankrupt economy, and the price of oil which continues to descend due to a massive global oil glut. It's been a tough week, I'm glad the weekend is here.
