This man is as creepy and crazy as a human could ever get. The problem is that we don't even consider the possibility that a doctor could do this.

There are unethical Drs. just like their are unethical pols or plumbers. No surprise there. The difference is that these are people that are sworn "to do no harm." Some Drs. develop a God complex and start to view their patients as experimental subjects in some kind of grand science experiment they dream their running. These clowns have what I call the Dr. Frankenstein complex. Jail time is the cure for what ails these types.
This guy had two things, he wanted as much money as he could get, and he could care less about how that greed affected unsuspecting and trusting people. As a result innocent people went through some ungodly suffering and pain. He's a sociopath, no conscience. I'd say always get a second opinion on something that is serious, if possible.
