The Market On Monday

Good morning. It is 58 degrees and hazy here in the Upper Hudson Valley. It looks like we will see temperatures slowly slide down the hill this week. It is Autumn. I hope you had a good weekend. My weekend was excellent as I was able to meet up with some old friends for good conversation and updates. As we get older it seems that the connections with people that we have in our lives become the most important thing above all else.

At 8:50 a.m. ET futures are significantly lower and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open much lower.

Last week's trend continues as the market is in some level of correction mode. Note that pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong are "rattling" investors. You read that correctly, democracy is a bad thing on the world economy. Get used to it.
