The Market On Thursday

Good morning. It is 46 degrees and sunny here in Upstate NY. The weather logos are indicating a rainy next couple of days starting on Friday. We shall see but we also know that the glorious weather eventually has to yield and make way for something else. Well here we are in day three of the G.O.Tea's demonstration of utter incompetence in governance, an inability to understand the rudimentary workings of democracy, and their trend in using extortion and radical extremism at every opportunity. I cannot say it often enough nor loud enough - G.O Tea, start a new country. Hey take North Carolina and a few other red states including Texas and make a conservative motherland for all wingnuts. Go the f--- away, please, and do it sooner rather than later. We'll open the door, and help pay the expenses.

At 8:25 a.m. futures are moderately down and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open lower.

Place all of today's and yesterday's devaluation of equities squarely on the pointed little dunce heads of our brilliantly stupid G.O.Tea Congress. God help us.

CNN: Stocks set to fall again on Washington woes
"The fact that it's dragged on is making people a little bit nervous. This thing has definitely dented people's appetite for risk."
