There is nothing normal about where we are taking the planet and fast. Once we reach 4 degs. above the present average temp. its a runaway warming and its at that pt. when the shit really will hit the fan. Its absolutely possible that with 150 yrs. the average summer temp. in N. America will be in excess of 130 degs. Above 140 human life cannot exist nor can most animal life above 20 pounds. The last time such a climate existed was the Permian extinction that took out 95% of the life on the planet. It will take millions of yrs. for the planet to recover once we reach 6 to 10 degs. above normal. At the present rate we are polluting the atmosphere we will be at a hellish 12 degs. in less then 200 yrs. Earth will be essentially a bone dry desert with poisonous seas at that pt.

I don't think humanity is going to do anything about its present use of oil and coal. There's quite a bit more that is going to get burned up in this century. I don't have a whole lot of faith that people are going to tackle global warning.

Unless our scientists can figure out some way to reverse what's forecasted we're screwed my friend. Believe me I don't like saying that, but I don't see anyway around the numbers at this juncture. The Ocean is already visibly rising where I live and us old timers all know it. I feel so sorry for my kids and some what guilty as well. What friggin mess were leaving them.
