The Market On Thursday

As I write this around 8am on Thursday, the thought is to let the market go today and start enjoying the possibility of a long weekend. Get some sun and relax, or if you live in upstate NY enjoy the endless rain.

Its looking like its going to tank. Futures are significantly down and there will be limited trading to begin with, millions of less shares traded.

Hey, a resurrection is always possible.

Reuters: Stock futures drop ahead of June jobs data
...the most closely watched U.S. economic indicator, is expected to show a loss of 363,000 jobs in June...

...lower holiday volumes could lead to increased volatility.
