Didn't we just hear Elon warning us in that video you posted a few days ago that AI wasn't all that's it's cranked up to be and could be a real danger. At the same time he was crowing about self-driving AI I bet that statement is coming back to haunt him today. Everyone thought cars were a BIG improvement on horses were they? How many people died falling off of or under the hooves of horses a year? Not many but millions have died in cars since they've been introduced.

No there's two degrees of AI. The one Elon is worried about is the super digital AI. This is beyond the self driving car even though I'm sure the self driving car is smarter than me and a better driver. The super AI under the control of a hostile force or in collaboration with a hostile power is worse than an atomic assault. It would leave society in complete chaos at this point - medical records, banking, energy, TV, the internet, you name it, it's on the computer. This is a glitch, a very big glitch. This won't stop self driving cars in the long haul. Scientist are right now scouring it to find out what the glitch was.
