This is the company that is the connector to the Russian hacks. The Russians supplied the ammo to this company and they directed the TrumPutin's campaign guns at the targeted audiences. This coming fall they'll try again no doubt but in some other even more sophisticated way. This is how the game of power is now being played. If the rest of us want to retain any seat at all at the table we'll have to learn how to counter it or become digital serfs. This is just the start wait till these Oligarchs and their Corps. and countries start deploying advanced AI apps against us. Democracy is rapidly becoming another illusion an Orwellian fig leaf barely hiding the Iron fist of the "new" Fascism.

We've read a lot of reasons why Trump pulled out his electoral win. My own feeling is that the Trump-Russia collusion, Analytica, wikileaks, Comey email decision, all of it pushed enough into Trump's column to get him the win. This is why many people refer to Trump as the illegitimate president. The reality that possibly a majority of Americans believe that Trump is illegitimate means that democracy has indeed been infected. It's interesting in that we can see how the internet has amazing potential in terms of instant access to all types of information but clearly it is also a weapon that can take down political and societal structures. The fact that Trump has done nothing to combat this is impeachable in itself, he is not defending the country. Trump is riding the wave of this new misery.
