At some pt. this year Donald is going to panic and start firing everyone in the DOJ etc. he feels or thinks is a threat and then he's going to go after anyone else he sees as a threat outside the Gov't. His little Dictatorship will be backed up by the GOP. By fall's Congressional elections we'll be in a full-fledged Constitutional crisis or will we? The Russians and the GOP together are going to mess with the elections BIG Time and if that doesn't work they'll pass laws that will do the trick.
A big part of Trump seems to be moment to moment thinking. He does not strike me as a long range planner. He sees something which benefits him now and then it's let's see where the cards land and not worry about that now. Clearly the tax cuts, the tariffs, etc etc will have negative effects. I'm not sure Trump has a long range plan. The GOP on the other hand probably does have more strategic thinkers. They are banking on a strong economy to push them into re-election in November.
