I have Medicare it's great as far as it goes and then it stops. It's a flawed system and nowhere near as good as Canadian Single Payer. Right off the bat it ONLY covers 80% of your bill so you need to have a supplemental private policy to cover the remaining 20% which on say a 1 mil. bill for something serious is 200K! You also need a separate Ins. for Prescription drugs, dental, eye wear and exams. Soas good as it is compared to say Obamacare it's anything but perfect. That said an extended version for everyone would be grand.

I'm not quite old enough for Medicare. I know that our medical system could be so much better in so many ways. There's entirely too little in keeping people healthy, proactive medicine you might say. But it can't happen because of lobbyists and corporate domination of the system. For example most processed food is shit as we know. There's too much sugar, salt, additives, years old white flour and god knows what else in our food. And it makes people sick over the long haul maybe you don't feel it when you're in your 20s but as we know in your 60s you do. Trump is the worst person possible to be heading this up, nothing reasonable happens while he is in office. It will take a Democrat, no Republican will mess with big pharma and big pharma and insurance companies is the corporate structure that sets medical costs as we know.
