I think no matter how serious the charges are against Trumpf this Congress will NEVER ever Impeach him. For that to happen the Dems. would need to take over Congress in fall 2018 and that's a million years away politically. Donald will have easily escaped by then.
You may very well be right. He could escape. Seems to me that it might depend on the severity of the charges and how much energy in polling and such that the charges generate. They are going to find something, and it's not good news for an already wounded president.
In the end, he's just going to say it doesn't matter and that he's just going to ignore all the charges and arrest Hillary anyway.
If that happens I will be out there screaming and yelling until I'm arrested too.
I'm serious look at the building momentum in Congress to indict her and reopen the email investigation while trying to close down Mueller. Trumpf has plenty of Confederates in Congress preparing to do just that ASAP.
