Good morning. It is 49 degrees and gray here in the Upper Hudson Valley. It is a typical gray November morning but sunshine is expected. Well America, today is the day. Apparently you want regression and so the regressive party will take over more control of Congress and the Senate. America, I guess you just don't like: Social Security, a decent minimum wage or any minimum wage whatsoever, equal pay for women, full access to women's health care, medicare, food stamps, gun control, but you really do like: low paying jobs, huge tax cuts for the wealthiest individuals and corporations, and a greater tax burden for the decimated middle class and the poor. Plus you're just crazy about a deeper more conservative Supreme Court. Well America, you got it, enjoy it.
At 8:30 a.m. ET futures are slightly lower and the price of oil per barrel is significantly lower. The market is poised to open lower and energy equities are going to be decimated.
If I were to point to one strong mover in today's market it would have to be the election. Please vote and vote often...
