The Earth will be fine, human civilization and human survival on it however might get more then a bit dicey. Earth will heat and run a fever and the fever will get as hot as it needs to be to get rid of the infection ( us.) Sound familiar? That's right were the microbes and Earth has an immune system, more then one. They are just beginning to kick in.
