Hobokengate

The Daily News: Lupica: Chris Christie-Hoboken tale may spell doom of arrogant ‘Empire’ - Gov. Christie needs for the Hoboken mayor to be just one more person telling lies about him for political gain, and piling on. Because if she’s not, then way too many people in the New Jersey governor’s administration start to look like they think this is ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and they’re working for Gov. Nucky.

There are stories all over NJ like this. I've been telling the one in my own town of how this guy operates. He's more like a Mafia thug then an elected pol.

The bully picture is emerging more and more for the nation to see. Christie's team is trying to hold it back but I think the wave is too strong. On the other hand, who knows what's going on behind closed doors. I would be interesting to be a fly on the wall inside Christie central right now.

Christie had better not survive this, because if he does it will only make him stronger and more dangerous. Some think slapping him down will back him off and they're wrong. Either you KILL this MFER politically now or we're all going to pay the price as he regains his footing. He's just filling up with rage as this goes forward and he had BIB BIG money behind him, so anyone counting him out had better forget it. The KOCH Bros. love this guy and will spend whatever it takes to prop him up after this and they have 2 yrs to rehabilitate him. As for the rest of us in NJ its also going to be hell to pay , because this prick goes after anyone that dares to oppose him. He does not believe in live and let live. He believes in revenge and he revels in it.

I hate to be the one to bring up the dreaded point here but obese men in their 50s, a lot of times are looking at serious health issues. It's when you hit your 50s that the body really begins to betray you especially if you have some kind of long standing health problem. The retirees in the area where I live that are in their late 60s 70s etc are all pretty much slim and exercise. I don't wish that on anybody even Christie but man oh man, you got a man going into his 50s who is obese and clearly has some anger issues and extreme job pressures. That's a mess of a cocktail in my opinion and setting aside all future speculation in his politics, the man is on a serious two pronged course here one with politics and one with his health.
