The Market On Friday

Good morning it is 19 degrees and sunny here in Upstate NY. Yes, it's cold but we are so determined for it to be warm that we still think it's warm. It's the power of mind over temperature. The weekend is upon us, the days are flying by, and here we are at the Ides of March. Two short months from now the garden will be active.

At 8:10 a.m. E.T. futures are flat and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open flat to slightly higher.

Everybody is wondering what happens next. Does the DOW set yet another record or is the run done. All bets are off. Personally I'm just watching this thing and scratching my head, caution in times of plenty and optimism in times of disaster.
