The Market On Friday

Good morning and welcome to March. It is 34 degrees and cloudy here in Upstate New York. Sun, we need you man, come on out. Anyhow, hey it's March, the month which contains the first day of Spring. Believe it or not, next weekend we will enact daylight savings time, it's a little early this year. So next weekend on Sunday we will have daylight till roughly 7 p.m. give or take. Weekend!

At 8:00 a.m. futures are slightly down and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open lower.

Investors will be parsing data on consumer spending, consumer sentiment, consumer income, manufacturing, and housing, along with wondering what gives with sequestration. Austerity is nonsense, it's strictly a ploy to privatize everything. This is the conservative group think.
