I hope everyone's enjoying their extended holiday weekend. The weather here is perfect and delicious. Yesterday we sealed 700 square feet of driveway, all by ourselves and for about $70! Today the body is sore and stiff, so the remedy is to head out for a jog. I want to see the neighborhood on this gorgeous morning.

Yah - exquisite too...
I've seen maybe a hundred of Renior's paintings from various periods of his life. He's not however one of my favorite French Impressionist painters. Later in his life his stuff got gaudy and a bit to fluffy for me. I particularly disliked his pictures dozens of them of chubby nude women bathing or doing various other things. I found them off putting and rather gauche. In his time they were probably considered porno.
