I would suspect that eventually science and bright people will get a much better sense of how to relate to this stuff and work with it. Sex releases dopamine but then people get addicted to sex, being on the computer and addicted to it releases dopamine. There's all kinds of activities that release and also probably suppress all these chemicals. Not only that but then you have pro-biotics and how the quality of the gut releases or suppresses chemicals that affect mood.
It's not as simple as a bunch of chemicals. The use of antidepressants has proven that. There effectiveness for various emotional and mood disorders is highly questionable. The drug companies love these types of drugs because they have the Drs. prescribing them to be taken for life, in many cases.

So how does that make you feel, being governed by an assortment of brain chemicals?
You tell me!
