Thanks for the reference. Its a scary one for sure, especially considering where the article is published. Scientific American, Nature and a few other such journals are not known for publishing tabloid stories or scary sci fi stories. That's precisely what makes this article so depressing.
Well it's a startling article and as you say seeing it in a main stream magazine like Scientific American drives the urgency of the message all the more. We're screwed, nothing is going on to counter the problem, emissions are still increasing and the corporate counter message has most Americans worrying about gay marriage.
