NJ.com: Dangerous heat wave inundates N.J., and it's only going to get worse
Lee Robertson, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, said temperatures could approach 100 degrees across much of the state (New Jersey) by Friday, while heat indexes of up to 105 degrees will not be uncommon both Thursday and Friday.
On Friday, the NWS office in Upton says the combination of heat and high dew points could make it feel like 110 degrees in some places.

I can't help but wander if the heat wave is a result of pollution and over crowding. A friend of mine wrote a blog post question the Green trend. But when I read articles like this, I'm thinking it matters. She doesn't think it matters
