OpEd News: Inside the Koch Brothers' Expensive Echo Chamber
...a $28.4 million Koch business that has manufactured 297 commentaries, 200 reports, 56 studies and six books distorting Social Security's effectiveness and purpose.
The Koch echo chamber begins with think tanks like the Cato Institute, Heritage Foundation and Mercatus Center at George Mason University and the Reason Foundation, which owe their founding and achievements to Koch backing. What do they expect hardnecked old objectivists like Ayn Rand to do in their old age? Die of hunger I guess.
I thought I posted this but now I don't see it. Ayn Rand did end up on welfare.
I'm surprised that Ayn Rand took welfare. I guess her convictions were not as strong as her basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter. Funny how a little harsh reality will change someone's tune.
Ann was lucky that welfare still existed when she needed it back then. Billy goat Clinton made sure this depression it had already vanished. Or as my Reich wing pals say. "The problem with the unemployed is they don't have jobs, they should go get some somewhere." DOH!
