Obama and his jobs panel are attempting to describe ways to create jobs.
The idea revolves around retraining workers for newer tech manufacturing jobs with a community college credential. Sounds fair.
One idea sounds almost preposterous. It has to do with attracting foreign investment here and starting foreign investment manufacturing in the USA. Maybe it can work. With so many unemployed and willing to accept anything pay wise and with unions being gutted, America is now a source of cheap controllable abuse-able labor for foreign investors. The future looks like a page out of slavery.

Most forecasters see the current weakness as temporary, and predict that consumers and businesses will be slowly spending more as the year goes on.
