70 Newly Found Possible Early Christian Documents

In spite of the ongoing crises in Japan and Libya, this article in the CS Monitor jumped out at me.

25% of all Americans are Catholic and 50% of all Americans are Protestant or fundamentalist Christian. Since Catholicism is also essentially a Christian religion that means that 75% of all Americans are Christians. Less than 10% are either Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, or Buddhist. Not to be curt but the remaining 15% go in the "other" category - my apologies.

Newly found volumes of early Christian documents are being evaluated by historians. They still need to crack the code, and attempt to date the works.

The thought is that they may hold a lot previously unknown information, or they might not - they could be "newer" and not predate the Dead Sea Scrolls.

CS Monitor: Could new discovery trump Dead Sea Scrolls? Scholars intrigued but cautious.
