Amazon let me read the first bunch of pages and me thinks it is not.
I do think the sub title "A Highly Judgmental, Unapologetically Honest Accounting of All the Things Our Elders Are Doing Wrong" is accurate, especially the judgmental part.
I don't know the book at all just the article, but I would assume the first section of the book is similar to the article in that, he starts with the wrongs before he gets to the rights.
It's the judgmental tone that permeates. He seems to be short on empathy. Regardless of content, I presume the tone of the book is set in the first 10 pages.
