The 40% President

NY Times: A President of the People or a President of His People? By Peter Baker
The old-fashioned idea that a president, once reaching office, should at least pretend to be the leader of all the people these days seems so, well, old-fashioned. Mr. Trump does not bother with the pretense. He is speaking to his people, not the people. He has become, or so it often seems, the president of the United Base of America.

Trumpf can only abide those folks that give him total loyalty he's a wannabe King NOT a President and he doesn't even understand what being President of a Republic means. Those that don't vote for him or like him are seen as enemies not the loyal opposition. With such a man in the WH we are essentially put into a Civil War of himself and his mob / followers against the rest of us. We can only hope we beat him next year it won't be easy because they don't play by any democratic rules.

Yeah, he's not our president. I'm spending more time watching the Democratic candidates, less on Trump. He's not worth our emotion, he's not worth getting worked up over either. He does nothing, he spends his days watching TV and tweeting. It's so unfortunate that America has this type of garbage going on.
