Ok, so it appears that the Trumpies just welcomed Putin's help with gusto but never directly conspired with them. They didn't need to it seems the Russians were obviously more than capable of doing it without their help. The irony here is probably Putin realized how incompetent Trump and his team were and rushed in to fill the gap. It bolsters the case that without Russian help it's very likely Trumpf et al. would have lost after all. Let's put it this way trumpf and his team certainly did NOTHING to either dissuade them to help niether did they go to the FBI when it was obvious that was their intent. They passively and actively used their help and hacked materials. Here's an analog, a gang of professional thieves breaks into a house and steals information from a computer and they realize it could be very valuable to one of their associates then passes it on to that friend who then uses that info to win a contest he's in. He's not directly liable for stealing it nevertheless he's using it and knows that it's been stolen. That's what happened here although it's even more complex than that. I'd say this what Trumpf and his team might not have EXPLICITLY coordinated with the Russian attack on the election but it was definitely was an assisted attack. The Russians entered the fray and Trumpf et. al welcomed them and assisted them both covertly and openly and I believe the FACTS bear that analysis out. Was it illegal what they did? Technically, maybe not but they did it and we know that much. Another thing was that Mueller sadly NEVER seemed to follow the $$$ here for some reason. The Moscow Trumpf Tower issue, for one thing, isn't followed. Plus, all the other $$ connections with Russia and Russians is not examined. This was a disappointment, to say the least. The bottom line is even a short reading of the report doesn't paint a very flattering picture of Trump or his allies and friends. He might NOT be guilty of any crime but he sure as hell wasn't some innocent bystander at a mugging. He let the Russians even encouraged the Russians to mug Hillary and he openly laughed about it.
