The Mueller report has been released, with redactions of course, and it is a damning document. Not only does it detail Russian efforts to attack our election to help the Trump campaign and the Trump campaign’s eager acceptance of that help, it paints a picture of Donald Trump as an unethical man with no regard for the rule of law.

The decision is not close to being clear. If we had the Senate leadership I'd say do it even if you can't win. Without that leadership, any trial would be turned around by the GOPutin and Lindsey Graham and made into an investigation of Obama and Hillary.
It's likely that the only thing the Dems can do is to keep Trump's lawlessness in the spotlight as best as they can/ I would think that this is a critical time. It would not surprise me to see some sort of major diversion occur now where Trump can shift the focus onto a crisis of some dubious origin.
