I hear this over and over again that Trumpf is increasingly frustrated by the job because unlike being a CEO he is restrained by Institutional traditions, law etc. He wants the Gov't to be just like his small business world where he does absolutely whatever he wants to whomever he wants whenever he wants. He's a terrible fit for this job. Oh and plus he doesn't get why asking everyone for their personal loyalty is just wrong and possibly even criminal. His instincts are totally authoritarian.
