Good morning. It is 73 degrees and hazy sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts periodic thunderstorms and temperatures in the high 80s this afternoon. Looks like after today the temperatures drop into the 70s with sunshine and some good looking days.
At 9:10 a.m. ET DOW futures are +59 and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open moderately higher.
Truth is when they play a clip of Trump on the news, I dive for the mute button. When it's known in advance that he will be speaking on TV, I make sure the TV is off and I'm doing something, anything, other than watching TV. Afghanistan, more troops - the only problem is that these troops are putting their lives right the hell on the line and Trump doesn't know a damn thing about anything and will be playing golf, stuffing his face, and talking divisive smack.
