The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. It is cloudy and 57 degrees here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a mostly cloudy day with temperatures in the 70s this afternoon. The long range forecast looks pretty nice, a couple of rainy days but a lot of sunshine and pleasant temperatures as we head into September.

At 9:20 a.m. ET DOW futures are significantly lower and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open significantly lower.

Texas is drowning, the flooding is unbelievable. I'm watching the video and my mouth is wide open in disbelief. The people there are experiencing a lot of pain and suffering. It's going to take a long time for the area to recover and for the trauma to settle down.
