The Market On Friday

Good morning. It is 39 degrees and overcast here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The logo is indicating a reasonably sunny day in the 40s. It's been another jaw dropping week in the news. If you get a chance read the HuffPo article on Obama visiting with the parents of the children slaughtered at Sandy Hook, it's quite moving - The President's Devotional: What Obama 'Did In Secret' In Newtown (EXCERPT)

At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are moderately lower and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open lower.

Gold is down, oil is down, markets are under pressure today and all I can say is thank goodness it's the weekend. Let it go.
