Jim Sande said...: Each day seems to bring a new revelation. The thing about what the mayor of Hoboken is saying is that she got told to "play for pay" as it were, AKA an offer she can't refuse. Now if you recall Christie said he never heard of the mayor of Fort Lee and yet in Fort Lee there's a $1billion dollar project. Why would Christie know what's going on in Hoboken and not in Fort Lee - answer - he knew about all of it. This revelation today confirms that Christie was lying at his press conference. I think he's going down. These are smart NYC type people going after him, well educated and on a vendetta to boot. Christie is going to get one hell of a bloody nose out of all this. And not only that, it's just as you've said all along, he's a bully. I bet more people step forward now that the iron is hot. He was holding all this empire together with a tight knit group of patsies and similarly minded flunkies and it's all unwinding. Nobody likes a loser especially in NYC area.
