The Corps. are getting to the bottom of whom they can fire to keep up their balance sheets and China 's growth is filled with Ghost cities built for nobody. the Middle class is almost gone buried under Healthcare bills and rising food and taxes. Life's great if your in the top 10% but, everyone else is drowning in this kind of society. Then there's the real 800 Ilb. gorilla in the room ( Not Vhris Christie) climate chaos and what that is starting to look like. Its only a matter of time till the message sinks in about all that Methane erupting in the Arctic as we speak . It spells DOOM for most life on earth and instead of easing back on the accelerator we pushing it to the floor.
Yes, you've hit the points. Still in spite of all these things, I think there is a growing body of people that are searching for some kind of deeper meaning to life and are also simultaneously imploring others to get active and involved while they do the same. I was watching a clip on the selection of people who will go on a one way trip to Mars. When that happens we will all go through another small mental shift knowing humanity is more spread out. The curious thing is Mars is desolate and uninhabitable, it's as if we are going to the place that we will become. The mission to Mars is like a mission in some ways to the future here.
