William Kristol On FOX News - 'The Obama Team Has Turned (The Bush Financial Meltdown) Around Pretty Well'

William Kristol, neoconservative and editor of the Weekly Standard, states on FOX News no less - "...Bush was president during the financial meltdown, the Obama team has turned that around pretty well..." It is an admission that is virtually unheard of coming from the likes of a major FOX News talking head, someone that all other FOX News talking heads bow and defer to regularly. Kristol continues and talks about alleged 'weakness' in Obama's foreign policy as some sort of angle that Romney can capitalize on. Recall that Romney is being tutored by other Bush 2 era neoconservatives. These are the same people that forced a war in Iraq, and we know how well that worked out. No, in this clip Kristol is stumping for a return of the neocons to run American foreign policy using the same slash and burn, shock and awe mess except this time the object is Iran.

Kristol just states the obvious the rest of us already know. Wall st. and the 1% that own most of the stock and everything else on the planet have done just fine these last 4 yrs. under the ( LOL) Socialist Muslim President born in Kenyan. The rest of us not so well. So why are these people so angry? The truth is they're not it's the far right that is angry and that's because they like the rest of us got axed in the Recession. The difference is the far right believes it's because of BIG Gubermint & too much regulation & LOL taxation of the same 1% that raped and plundered them and us. These folks need to take off their Fox news shaded glasses and smell the sewage rising around their ankles. It's as some say the genius of the Corporatist elite is that they have bamboozled these people into buying their voodoo. The far right might think it's raining, but that's not rain, it's the piss trickling down their faces from the 1% pissing on all of us. LOL! They however believe it's a Golden shower from heaven above where the JOB CREATORS dwell on Mt. Olympus ( Wall st.).

As far as the economy and how this entire mess has come to be over the last decade, I couldn't agree with you more. The GOTP maintains its base primarily on the social issues, at least that is what I think. The people that disapprove of abortion, gay marriage, some racists, some anti-immigration people, people that want a "Christian Nation" these are the base of the party. I don't think these people even consider how their voting is against their own economic interests. The social agenda is their most important thing ahead of all else.

Seriously if you take away the social agenda conservatives, the GOTP is left with 1% of the population. It strikes me that the role of FOX News is to maintain the stupidity level, throw out factually incorrect information constantly, build up straw men at every chance, play sub human blame games, and pander to ignorance, that's their mission.

I have a friend that exemplifies the GOPT base perfectly. He's a smart guy, has a good job as a software eng. and works on a Gov't contract. Yet, he hates the thought of any, as he puts it moochers getting welfare and his examples are always Reagan's Cadillac welfare queens or some variant of it. When I explain that many more white folks are on relief of one variety or another he simply doesn't want to believe it no matter how much proof is put on the table in front of him. RMONEY et al. knew exactly who they were playing to when they divide the country into the supposed 53% that pay Income taxes and the so called moochers that don't. It's just another racist dog whistle to his base to stay with us or the N-ggers and other losers will plunder your pay check and eventually rape your wife and daughter. Nothing is beneath these folks nothing! All that counts is winning and then dividing the spoils among themselves. As he said his job is to ignore what the 47% want.

Which came first - the racism or his political policy priorities?

I mean is he a racist and then found a convenient set of miserable GOTP policies that fit his racism. Or was it the other way around somehow - or was it something else?
