Obama 48.2%, Romney 45.3%

Real Clear Politics on Thursday morning. Note that conservative biased Rasmussen has Romney leading in the polls, the only pollster to do so. One might consider the possibility that Rasmussen's polling helps to make something like RCP's average appear tighter between the candidates than the race actually might be. A tighter race could possibly convince unwitting people that Romney really is viable.

Precisely my pt. Rasmussen's job is to make the race look closer then it really is. It's what statisticians call an Outlier poll and because it's so far off the others I discard it as obviously biased and bought. I hope Rasmussen enjoys his Swiss or Cayman account because he has no more cred. now then FOX news.

Sure, well I learned this point from you. It's interesting I was surfing through the right wing end of the blogoshere, and ran into a blogger who was stating the exact opposite case! He was saying, well if you throw out the useless Pew and Reuters then you are let with the pure polling of Rasmussen and Gallup and clearly Romney is winning! There comes a point when naturally the polling is pointless after the election occurs, then it's all hindsight. Right now I think Obama holds the edge, Bush 2 was able to close the gap, we shall see what happens, like it or not. We got about 6 1/2 weeks to go.

BV$H 2 was the President for one thing and Kerry was a terrible campaigner. I'll never forget how badly he handled the Swift boating episode as an example. In this case Obama is 10X more effective a campaigner then RMONEY is and as bad as the economy and job situation is most people realize that Obama isn't to blame for the huge hole he started his Presidency in. No doubt, He made a lot of bad calls and showed he was indeed a novice @ being a leader, but he's learned since and RMONEY doesn't seem to learn anything. I think it will be Obama by 3 to 4 pts. when it's all said and done. I doubt even most Reptiles want 8 more yrs. of another totally clueless heartless dunce. We'll see soon enough.

For the life of me, I still can't figure out why anyone would have voted for Bush, let alone twice. 9-11 happened on his watch and people hoped he was the right guy to fix it and make it all better I guess. He was horrible. Ever since those elections I have no faith in the American public. That's when my study of authoritarian personality and the real distinctions between democratically minded people and hierarchically minded people kicked it.
