As a progressive, the idea of voting for Rick Santorum is about as delicious and deviant as I could ever imagine. Its wickeder than voting for Michelle. Its a real bizarre twisted pleasure thinking of "pulling the lever" (a euphemism?) for Rick. Its thrilling, perverse, and yet oddly appropriate for our crumbling times. (Now there's a good title for a magazine - 'Our Crumbling Times')

Rick is just what our country needs, a GOD GOP fearing Christian man straight to the point on gays, blacks, abortion, women's rights, and the all too important mandatory need to bomb Iran sooner rather than later. In fact let's retroactively bomb Iran - start bombing today and change the date to make it look like 3 years ago.

(And let’s be honest — Santorum got into politics solely to be a soldier in God’s war on gays and abortionists. On every other issue he always has and always will just do whatever the think tanks and well-connected interest groups say, making his “record” on something like Medicare Part D entirely beside the point.
