I'm thinking worst case scenario, we head into a deeper more prolonged "recovery"/recession. We start on a course that makes the great depression look like a warm up. Best case scenario, the present shape of the country continues and gradually erodes. I don't see a pretty picture emerging at this point.
The elites have bought into Supply-side voodoo and I'm starting to understand why. They really don't know what to do and when your clueless you reach for magical thinking, like everything will be ok just because I say so and other examples of childish thinking. Obama is nothing more then a empty suit and a placeholder . His job was to gut the safety net and finish off the middle class which the Corp / Military elites and the plutocrats have decided are a counter productive group at this juncture.
