Just walked in the door for my lunch period, went out to gas up the generator, and voila the power went back on.
All in all we were without power for 54 hours, which is nothing.
Using the generator we had four outlets which we used with four power cords.
So what are our four essentials. We hooked up the sump pump in the basement to keep the house from floating away, the ground is soaked with water. Cord two went to the fridge, didn't want to lose the frozen food and such. Cords three and four went to running the internet panel in the basement, and the router in the living room.
When the power went off, we opted for water removal, fresh food, and the internet. Is there some lesson here? I doubt it.

SUPER KEWL!!
Yes it is. Even now though I hear the neighbor's generator running. The power company got guys up here from Louisiana. Paying them on the cheap but they are happy to have work.
