Out of curiosity I've been following Trump's social media stock DJT. The stock went public at the end of March 2024. At that time the company saw a big infusion of money as people rushed in to buy shares. On March 27th 2024, the day after going public, the stock traded at its high for the year, $66.22 per share. The stock, DJT, closed at $19.50 on Friday August 30, 2024. This large devaluation in DJT is occurring while the DOW is presently at record breaking highs meaning that a decent stock right now has gained value week after week through the year.
