The meltdown underway in Greenland is noticeable along the coast down here. Where I live today a century from now will be underwater or heading there. People here could care less if they know or don't believe it if they're right wing. I live on relatively high ground 20 feet above sea level in the middle of the Barrier Island I live on. However, the retreat from the coast is already well underway here. Banks and Ins. companies are making it harder to live here and if you do get Ins. Only the wealthy will be able to afford to live here in 25 yrs. or so.

The wealthy can afford to do anything like that because as we know a house isn't a type of financial investment for them as it is for someone like me, it's more like a new coat or car, it's more expendable. Sure, they will plunk down a load of cash to be able to sit in front of the waves for a decade until the house goes down or they figure something else out.
