Approved

 I've tried several of the new faux meat, plant based burgers. I have to admit, not really liking it at all. On a whim, I recently bought some Dr. Praeger's 'All American Plant Based Burgers' and they were very tasty. The company is not obsessed with trying to replicate the taste and feel of beef, and they are not overly oily.

It's just worth considering the sourcing and processing of the two main ingredients in the burgers:
Hydrated Pea Protein Blend & High Oleic Sunflower Oil

Not surprisingly, this is proprietary info that is not shared with the public. The slick website only emphasizes customers interests: taste, texture, price and "healthiness".
