 NY Times: Collins to Back Jackson for Supreme Court, Giving Her a G.O.P. Vote - Senator Susan Collins, a centrist from Maine, said a second meeting with Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson alleviated her concerns. It is unclear if other Republicans will join her. By Carl Hulse

Here we are in 2022 with ONE Republican vote being a big deal. It's pitiful and sad.

And just for the record...
Judge Jackson has a moderate record.
Collins is NOT a centrist.

She going to get on the court, what has to happen now is the 6-3 conservative advantage has to shift back to a 5-4 liberal advantage.

If Thomas melts down and self destructs - and I'm not holding breath on that - it's still conservative.
Probably won't get back to a 5-4 liberal edge in our lifetime.

America is now going to tack hard right under the Judicial rule of the far-right Justices on the Court. I expect we'll soon be fighting over Brown vs. the Board of Ed. and maybe even Social Security and Medicare. These people are NOT Conservatives they are religious and political Reactionaries.
