Limits

NY Times: The White House is set to announce new limits on HFCs, a powerful driver of climate change. The Environmental Protection Agency is expected to issue a final regulation on Thursday morning that will slash the use of hydrofluorocarbons, widely used in air-conditioning and refrigeration. These gases are super GHGs much more so then even Methane! They all need to be heavily restricted which begs the ? what can replace them in refrigeration devices? We'll see soon enough.

Strikes me that this is a good move, yet so much is now built into the system as we know. I like the carbon extraction plants that are starting to come online. This seems to hold some promise. People tend to take action when they are pressed to the limits unfortunately.
